Dr Murphy can provide the legal profession with dental reports for their clients in personal injury cases. William Murphy qualified from Birmingham University in 1991 and practices in the city centre. He has an interest in Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry and is currently enrolled in the current cohort for the prestigious Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons. He is currently leading the West Midlands Study Group for the Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice ( MFGDP(UK) ) at the Royal College of Surgeons.
When persoanl injury claims involve damage to the teeth and face, a dental report from an experienced expert witness is essential. Dr Murphy has been trained in report writting by Bond Solon and has been providing dental reports for personal injury cases for 9 years. He takes over 40 instructions a year and reports can usually be completed within 10 working days.
What is required?
It is very important that all patient details are accurate. For a promptly returned report it is essential that dental and hospital records are provided. In particular relating to the time just before the accident. To fully assess the extent of the injury, the pre accident records give a direct comparison with the present condition. Pre and post accident x-rays are especially valuable to confirm any pre existing conditions which can cause doubt over the true extent of any disability.
